TEXT: Col. 1:13, 1Jn. 5:18, Lk. 10:17-18, Exo. 15:1
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Col 1:13). We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not (1 John 5:18). And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven (Luke 10:17-18).
We are all familiar with different kinds of enemies that we face in this life. This might include the economic enemies, political enemies, success enemies, health enemies and enemies of any sort. The goodnews is that God has made a provision for us to overcome the enemies and to have victory by the confession of our faith. The greatest enemy of Israel was goliath. David overcame him on behalf of God and the whole of Israel by the confession of his faith. Sin is our major enemy and there is no way you could ever, ever, ever in your life become a christian and have victory over sin unless you first make a confession over sin. This means that you must see confession as a means of overcoming all your afflictions, diseases and whatever the enemies could have thrown at you. The secret is in the Word of God and your ability to trust it and speak it out to bring the result.
I confess with my mouth that the Lord will deliver all my enemies into my hands (Gen. 40:20).
I confess with my mouth that the promise of the Lord which says He will be an enemy to my enemy will become a reality in my life (Exo. 23:22).
I confess with my mouth that the angels of the Lord will go out from every corner to fight for me against all my enemies (Deut. 20:4).
Because I am not living in sin, I will not be like the Israelites in the camp of Joshua who couldn’t stand before their enemies (Josh. 7:12).
Whatever enemies are doing on any side, what I know or don’t know, what I feel or don’t feel, I confess that God will be against all my enemies on every side (1Sam. 14:47).
I confess with my mouth that all my enemies will be ashamed and confounded whether they like it or not because I am a child of God (Ps. 6:10).
I confess with my mouth that I believe God because He only has the power to deliver me from enemies I know and those I don’t know (Ps. 18:48).
I confess with my mouth that God is going to set a table before me in the presence of my enemies (Ps. 23:5).
I confess with my mouth that the Lord who delivered Israel and David from their enemies will deliver me from my enemies (Ps. 69:1).
Just like you did in the Old Testament times when you caused the sea to swell up, so also I confess with my mouth that you are going to let me overwhelm my enemies.
According to the Word of God, the enemies of God who become my enemies because I belong to God will perish.
Here is what I am waiting for, the day you are going to make my enemies become my footstool so I could tread on them, beat on them, I believe that that day has come (Ps. 110:1).
I confess that the enemies try to do different things on every side, most of them I don’t know and I don’t understand but I confess with my mouth that you will make me much more wiser than my enemies so that whatever tricks they play I will be able to understand it (Ps. 119:98).
I am confessing with that because deliverance belongs to you, oh Lord, you will deliver me from my enemies.
I confess with my mouth what your word told me that if my way pleases the Lord, that is, if I am living a life that makes you happy, you will make even my enemies to be at peace with me. This is what I want you to do because I shall do your will and obey your commandment.
I don’t know whether there are enemies far or near but your word says, a man’s enemies are the men of his own household, so, I break all the arms of household enemies in my life.
I confess that you shall give me the power to love my enemies and to pray for them that cause me (Matt. 5:44). I know why you want me to love my enemies and pray for them, it is because you have said that you are going to be an enemy to my enemies and adversary to my adversaries.
I confess with my mouth that you have put all my enemies under my feet right now (1Cor. 15:25).
I confess that all my enemies are becoming my footstool (Lk.20:43, Heb. 1:13).
Again, each enemy is becoming my footstool (Heb. 10:13). Because you said so much of this, I believe that every enemy that rise against me has become my footstool.
I confess with my mouth that when the enemy says, “I will pursue and I will kill” it is because he is looking for his own destruction (Exo. 15:9).
I confess with my mouth that God is an enemy unto everyone that makes himself my enemy (Exo. 23:22).
Lord, I confess the question, how long shall my enemy be exalted, how shall the blasphemer of thy name be glorified (Ps. 13:2, 24:10).
I confess with my mouth that the devil being the enemy of God has no power over me.
